This is an unusual object, you usually only see these pieces with many different colors. This is the first I have seen done in just this cobolt blue. It is marked cobolt blue and some numbers on the bottom, perhaps this was a test for the color? Also marked with the Rorstrand Logo and GN. Excellent condition. Approx. 4 1/2" high and 5" across. Another piece in the ARO pattern. This is the smaller model and it measures 3 7/8" x 3" across and 2" at the highest point. Interesting glaze. A few faint lines (marks) on the outside, otherwise excellent condition. Item# AN20605234

This is a smaller version of an ARX vase than the one above, This one measures 9 1/8" tall and approx. 2 1/2" at the widest point. It is marked as second quality due to some grains in the glaze around the top, otherwise very good condition. Less noticeable in real life than what the picture shows. Great color and glaze. This is a very unusual piece by Stalhane, it is in fact unique! It is a small bowl, 5 1/2" across and 1 1/4" high. The design is handpainted by Mr Stalhane himself, it is not a Studio piece painted by someone else after his design. Fully signed by the man himself on the back. The paint is slightly faded on the rim on the right hand side but it must be from production. Excellent condition and a highly recommended, unusual piece. Item# AN208051605

This is a nice bowl marked Atelje. Items marked Atelje were made in a limted number, usually no more than 100, and each piece is slightly different. It is marked as second quality, probably due to some bubbles in the glaze. 7 1/4" in diameter and 1 1/2" high. A few light scratches in the bowl otherwise very good condition. Item# AN208051606

Nice vase by Stalhane. Marked as second quality since it has been ground around the bottom ring. This has also casued a flake to come off (see pic). Other than that it is in excellent condition. 4 1/2" high and 3 1/2" in diameter. Item# AN20809036

This is a fairly unusual shape (SVP) by Stålhane. The glaze on this particular example is fantastic. It is marked as a second and the reason is probably that there are two darker areas in the glaze along the rim. I can´t see any other reason why they would have marked it as such. 3 1/4" high x 5 1/2" across. Excellent condition. Item# AN2065124

Small bowl by C-H Stalhane. The glaze is done in the most fantastic color combination, with dark blue, reddish brown and yellowish brown. This little bowl is marked as a second as there are some bubbles in the glaze. There is one spot on the inside (3/16") that is quite obvious. It measures 1 1/2" high and 3 3/4" across. A great little piece despite the bubbles. Item# AN2037107

This dish is from the end of the 19th C, done in a brow majolica type glaze. It is part of a series, I have seen horses, dogs and a walrus and there are probably other animals in the same series out there. Probably designed as an ashtray but makes a great dish for peanuts! I think the monkey is supposed to look sweet, but I think it looks evil.... Anyway, it's a fun piece. It measures 4 1/2" high and 5 1/4" across. No chips or cracks but there is crazing throught, which is to be expected on this type of glaze. Also some slight discoloration on the bottom. A neat piece if you like unusual items! This is a small lidded jar by Karl Lindström. Beautifully done in underglaze colors with a motif of sweet pea blossoms on the top. 2 1/2" high and 2 3/4" in diameter at the top. Very good condition. Item# AN208011502

This vase really belongs in the category Antique Ceramics since it is over 100 years old but I still think it fits so well in with the pieces in the Swedish Modern category. Love the form and the glaze and colors are just amazing. It measures 8" high and approx. 3 1/2" in diameter at its widest point. No chips or cracks but there is crazing throughout as is to be expected. The Rorstrand mark dates it to the 1890s. A rare, beautiful piece. Item# AN207264
